Don't you get excited to celebrate a New Guitar Day (aka NGD)? With the excitement of the new, our old guitar gets put back in its case and set in the closet or under the bed to collect dust for the foreseeable future. But for many of the world's musicians, a new guitar or even a music store is just a dream. What if your old guitar could begin a new chapter and change the life of a musician in a land far away and give them a New Guitar Day that they could have never imagined.

Instruments of Joy is an organization that equips aspiring musicians in the developing world with quality musical instruments. They take donated instruments, partner with teams traveling to far off places, and give them to musicians who would otherwise have no access to a new instrument. Learn & Master Guitar has supported Instruments of Joy for years and donates a guitar course with each guitar that is sent.

Here's how it works. Pack up your old guitar and send it to Instruments of Joy in Nashville. They partner with a team that takes it to a remote part of the world. Upon finding a worthy musician in need of an instrument, they present it to him, take a picture, and send it back to you.

It's all fully tax deductable and only costs you the amount for shipping the guitar to Nashville. Everything else will be covered.
