Style Fusion with Guthrie Trapp
Guthrie Trapp is an amazing guitarist who has paid his dues here in Nashville and is now turning heads all over the guitar world. Featured in this month's Guitar Player magazine, Guthrie has an amazing way of fusing guitar styles from bluegrass, to jazz, to blues, to rock, to jazz fusion.
When Johnny Hiland left the famed Don Kelley band here in Nashville, it was Guthrie who was picked to fill his spot. Since then he's played, toured, or recorded with an amazing array of artists including Allison Krauss, George Jones, Hank Williams Jr, Garth Brooks, and many others. In the last few weeks alone he's played the Tonight Show, South by Southwest in Austin, and recorded tracks for the hit TV show "Nashville". It's going to be a great live lesson! Win an electric guitar and a custom overdrive pedal!
